today’s breakfast is… scrambled eggs moons over my hammy (a limited supply, since i had to run out to Denny’s to grab some) bacon, sausage, and/or ham various juices earl grey, green, and darjeeling teas, nuclear coffee, (and regular coffee for those who prefer not to take the risk) and (for the kid in all of us) generous bowlsful of count chocula & frankenberry cereals.

Hi Johnny–I’m the same way with sisters. The older sister, bless her soul, was still younger than I, but she would play any sports with the boys in the n’hood. Without any weapons she always worried me. Then again I was taught (and it was strictly inforced!) not to hit my sisters.

Good Morning all. I am definitely feeling the affects of moving furniture all day long yesterday. But Doc’s coffee is giving me other things to worry about. Such as, why am I glowing brighter than my computer screen?

A date with Rita is really fun for the first hour or so, by then all the good times have passed and the close contact has gone from sexy to the equivalent of velcro attached to bare skin.

if Brett had been funny, i’d have made fun of him too. i won’t put him down for continuing to play, but i’m just glad i retired from my game maybe a year or so too soon rather than too late. he’s got a good team around him, from what little i’ve seen, so maybe he’s got a chance to go out on top. (almost any athlete will tell you that’s the way to go, too bad so few manage to do so. i managed it.)

Dry, 71 is a lovely temp. I’m glad that ugly snow/ice went away from you. We only had a couple of chilly days. I saw some photos in the local paper, people here were bundled up in parkas, the temps were in the 50’s! Right now I think it’s about 80.

@tabby, I never had braces, so nothing–but you might consider talking to the dentist who put them on if there’s some electrolytic action from different metals in contact. Or if you use metal, errr, say sporks, that might do it too if they touch the braces.

all i use is plastic. :) they hurt less when you hit the braces. lol

I’m back for a bit. I wanted to tell Dry and Tabby that I have a set of metal sporks, but wait, they look like sporks except they have a knife part on one of the sides. Not a sharp knife, like a butter knife. I met the person who designed them In San Diego. He gave me a set. He designed them to use for camping, etc. and for the elderly and handicapped. I’ve never used them, they’re still brand new.
