Oh, it rained tonight so it is plenty cool. Someone said it was supposed to get up into the 90’s next week and implied that was a good thing. Nope, don’t like that. Too hot!

I keep forgetting that my car has air condtioning. Little Sister I have found if you have one fan blowing in cool air and another fan blowing out hot air (if you can manage it). It cools down faster.

Chance of thunder and lightning (with rain, hail, winds, whirlwinds, tornadoes, and other possible meteorological events of note) just about every day and night for the next week–but it looks to cool off after today, which will be nice.

Still, looking outside doesn’t make rain look very likely. There was a half moment this morning when it might have worked up to something, but then it went away.

I wonder if we doped silver iodide crystals with Nuclear Coffee and seeded the clouds, what would happen?

Hi, bmonk! Don’t give Luv any ideas. I think that’s why she shot off the rocket the other day, she wanted thunderstorms. We’re supposed to get some tomorrow afternoon, and a possiblity every day for several days in a row.

Well it looks like I’ll be stuck here for a while. The feeder road out of this has high water. I hope it subsides before the next batch of heavy storms rolls through.

Isn’t Lew retired from the Post Office? I think we set a record today. 7 pieces of mail, and none of it junk. Of course, I was a bit ticked off at the mail carrier. She put a notice in the mail box that there was something that needed a signature, but she didn’t come up to the house to try to get one. Well goody. Ladywolf enjoy being with your grandma. My grandparents are long gone. My mom is 85 and at times no fun she doesn’t like to shop I have to pull a little teeth. Hubby and I went outside to see neighbors burning up fireworks money impressive site not fit for dogs though. I’m not watching tv yet. And I do have trouble sleeping. Hubby saw his heart Dr. today doing okay as long as he stays with Provio(sp) to keep the stint going. I saw my pain dr. told him I’m doing better can start weigning off one med but have to stay with two others. Long process. By the way I do miss some of the old shows that where on tv years ago.

I wonder what LuvH8 has in store for us?

Don’t do that. Do you ride a bike or read books or bowling or so much? I miss riding a bike use to do that when I was way younger but back is too stiff. Now I have to do the boring thing walk. I do tape some court shows which I was able to pass on to my daughter. She wants to get another Golden Retriver for her girl Golden Retriver but having a hard time.

Ladywolf, there wasn’t much worth remembering and loving from your childhood. I love the original Twilight Zone and I wasn’t even born when it first aired.

I do that stuff, yes! But I don’t need to be a kid to enjoy that.

I will keep writing my short stories, it is the one thing that I enjoy.

Grog When I go for a walk in the evening I visit in passing another guy who is 59 he works at a major air craft com. and he is thinking of retiring he like you is tired of it. He thought about pt. I hate to tell anyone pt is not what it’s cracked up to be. When you miss no pay.

Ladywolf - There is a difference with being a kid and being a kid at heart. I don’t want to lose the “kid at heart” in me.

I like to walk, I also like to go to the fitness club and exercise, or do kickboxing.

Ladywolf what type of short stories do you wright? I seen where you where also feature in one of the comic strips. Not sure I would like that.

All I’m not staying here for breakfast or when they change BT after midnight. I have had trouble getting off to sleep for a whole week.

Well I suppose I’ll always be a kid at heart. I do Like to play, especially when I’m here, But being a young adult has also been fun for me so far.

My daughter is into high tech fitness. She wants to be a trainer. We have a bi-level she is in lower level half of that is for exercise. She has taken clases but found out she needs more before she takes a test to be licenced. So as a mom when I see people looking at exercise equipment I tell them about her.

It varies Kab Buch. I mostly like Fantasies and Adventure.

It also depends on my mood.

Grog I only took pt as I couldn’t get anything else and thats been 8 years ago. I have tried to get full time and I find out my resume is outdated and I don’t have the money for a professional one nor do I have degrees for a professional one. I was not aiming you at pt. Your too qualified for pt anyway. Do you watch the news since the senses workers jobs are done back to looking for work. And where I work at some people are in for some bad news.

Ladywolf, as strange as it may seem. at your age they were my favorites, too. My favorite show is still the the original Star Trek

Ladywolf that sounds interesting. Have you ever thought about getting with Readers Digest they like short stories. A lot of people do read them including my hubby.

Well all I have trully enjoyed this chat but I feel I have said too much and some in different strips don’t like long comments. It’s getting close to midnight here. I will try Sat. to get on again. Ladywolf enjoy creating that breakfast for 3rd shift. It’s a good think I can read the breakfast menu I gain weight just reading it. All of it has been delicious.

Grog Growing up I lived in Northern California In a small town called Oak Run. There was hardly any TV stations to watch. My playground was a large forest with steep hills to climb and slide down.

I got into writing because of my mother. She used to tell me that all I needed was my imagination, and I could be entertained for hours.

I really miss her, and think about her a lot.

Those are my childhood memories and I will always hold them dear to my heart.

Kab, there are some long posts I enjoy reading, and those that I don’t. Most of the long posts here I will read, however, at other strips all I have to do is look at the name of the poster before I decide whether or not to read it.
