Arrr! Where’s the cutlass and the eyepatch, matey?
Mommy should reader the biker story tomorrow.
He could read a story to Rose. And see where that would lead to.
I was thinking along the lines of the “Pirate’s of Penzance”.
He invested so much time in getting dressed up to read the story, Rose…the least you can do is let him read!
Arrrgh!
“Avast, me hearties. . .”/“Call me Ishmael. . .”/“Who’s the swiniest swine in the world: Captain Hook! Captain Hook! who’s dispensible? reprehensible?”. . .
There’s also the films Swashbuckler, The Pirate (with Gene Kelley, of all people) and OF COURSE, “Captain Jack Sparrow”. . .
Do these kind of parents really exist?
Now that is how to get into character, Jimbo!
Ooooh, can I listen too…..
Shiver me timbers …
Q: Why are pirate stories so fascinating?
A: I don’t know… they just aaaaaahhrr.
Reportedly, Treasure Island was born out of a map Robert Lewis Stevenson made for his stepson, telling stories of each detail as he drew along.
