must be NPR – the organization that pioneered informative news segments now relies mostly on ‘journalists’ talking to each other about how they feel about the news…

when one ‘thinks’ one has to be relevant and one has a 24/7 ‘news’ channel – one begins to ‘make-up news so one can keep one’s job and pretend to be important. the real problem is it becomes a bunch of snobbish bores simply gossiping about their self-importance. js

I guess that there was nothing “new enough” since all the stuff seem to keep repeating themselves lately.

They ran out of news on January 20.

This is why I’ve stopped calling people reporters and started calling them commentators.

One has to be an educated consumer before looking at what’s on offer.

You must be watching the wrong channel. I’d say a building collapsing in the middle of the night is actual news.

It does seem that as a culture, we want to be entertained more than informed

Most of what the networks present as news is not news. It is comment and opinion.

They need to come up another name, cause it ain’t news.
