Happy accidents is one of my fav expressions – it’s a thing : )

When Caleb was in 1st grade, I was helping them paint a bed sheet into a huge American flag. One little girl stepped on a freshly painted red stripe, so I carried her over to the sink to wash off her foot.

So can babies!

Art is whatever you can get away with. For example, look up the $500,000 statue of dog poop in San Jose, CA. And that’s $500,000 in 1994 dollars.

I don’t think Miss Bliss hands out grades (gold stars or smiley stickers, maybe), but I doubt she was as pleased with Alice’s work as Alice is.
