Some prefer making their own versions.

The kids look older now.

Yeah, when they know how to read you can’t make stuff up.

I loved it when my dad would go “off script” when reading a story.

I unintentionally change words when I am reading. I’m sure there is a name for this “disorder”.

I had to entertain my three younger brothers who had long previously become bored with the classic fairy tales. My retellings included giant teddy bears from space, legions of toy plastic soldiers and other ad hoc contributions.

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

Of course Snow’s version would be more fun!

It’s one of the things you have to do when you’re reading the same story for the fifth night in a row.
