One of my mom’s cousins once told her mom, “Gee Aunt Elizabeth, you sure make good canned soup.” Of course Grandma always added a dash of this and a pinch of that to the basic canned product.

Corned Beef Hash casserole.

My daughter gave me a hack for making the best canned tomato soup. One can of Campbell’s tomato soup (undiluted) and one 8 oz. can of V8 as the liquid. It is the richest, best canned tomato soup I have ever had – just perfect for a grilled cheese sandwich or two. Or three.

Definitely some of the most simple, delicious and the easiest of dishes to cook….

You can probably buy that casserole in a can.
