I like the moonlight reflected on Cleo’s nose. And who is this Monte M. Catordog? Those with ambiguity about their species will not be welcome in the military! (But in Hollywood, no problem.)

Was Cleo wet when she did The Shake?

(something sure shook all the purply out of this poster)

P.S. Are you sure Barkie Howladay wasn’t an extra in this pic?

(For the record, I’m going to keep making reference to Barkie Howladay EVERY DAY until SOMEONE acknowledges the brilliance of my pun)

    Ooh… Rudolph Bassetino… ….those eyes, those eyes!

Agnes Ayredale seems not as well remembered…. but she was beautiful in her day….

and became a major star for a while, after this film.

It’s just hard to compete with Rudolph Bassetino… and … you know…. those eyes…. sigh…..

As for “The Shake” .. Bassetino had such a talent for it….

but I wouldn’t want him to do it inside my house.

    All those towels they’re wearing….

on their heads, draped all over them, tied around their waists…

You’d think they could just dry off with them…

But NO, they just have to shake.

    Dogs.

    Meanwhile….

There was a human imitation of this one, too….

but how could a man compare with Rudolph Bassetini?

He just doesn’t have…. well, you know.

    See for yourself!

The Shake looks beautiful. I love Edith M. Howl’s novels.
