There are all kinds of malware going around today, such as Trojan horses, spyware, browser hijacks, ransomware and others, but are there any true viruses still around (i.e. code that embeds itself in other programs and runs when the program runs)?
A lot of people don’t or didn’t believe Macs could get viruses. Heck, I was cleaning viruses off them at my university back in the late ’80’s NvirA and NvirB were the most common, but there were others.
