    Um, since air isn’t heavier than air – sort of by definition – how will letting the air out of the inflated pontoons make a difference? (Now if they were filled with hydrogen or helium it would make the craft heavier… But since the plant has already picked up the larger boat I think we can rule that out as a viable option.)

    Lets see, rubber boat, gasoline, spark. Spark ignites gasoline, gasoline ignites rubber boat, entire mess drops into water, vines still have idiot girl. Methinks letting the air out the boat was a better plan.

    Light the trickle of gasoline coming from the motor. The fire will follow the trickle up into the tank. Pieces of flaming metal flying everywhere, but they’ll only hurt the plant, not the people or the boat. Got it.
