Reminds me of an old Buffalo Bill comic, where the opening panel states William is riding his horse through the plains.

Very steep, rocky, brown plains.

The charge of the very light brigade.

Breakfast calls. And the percolator is bubbling nicely.

George of the Jungle would run into the first tree moving like that with his head turned.

A terrible demon eh. What oh what could it be.

This storyline could be more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

“Taking prisoners”? Must be zoo people. Somehow they will take Tarzan prisoner.

So much better artwork on this story than the last.

As he came upon the scene, he saw a huge pit, with Tribe Members huddled at the bottom, several Rogue Elephants trampling around the perimeter, and a river between, with crocs on the bank, waiting to attack if Tarzan dips even so much as a pinkie into the water. He thought he’d died and gone to Heaven… ☺
