This is very true. The only old musician I can remember is Elvis. And that’s only because of Wallace saying it.

I think he’s going to end up crushed anyway if he keeps letting Wallace try and blindly guess.

I recently bragged to a much much younger friend that’d I’d taken his advice and listened to some current music. Told him I really like "Smells Like Teen Spirit’. He wasn’t impressed. Not current enough?

Don’t worry Dad, no doubt Mom has done her duty and raised Wallace right, musically. She seems like the “play it loud while I do the housework” type.

I was Flossing to Imagine dragons with the nest generation when one of them made a comment about how I knew what Flossing was at my age. I told her that I have been keeping up on the dancing trends since Mark Knopfler tuned his first guitar. She surprised me by asking me if I was a Dire Straits fan. At 17, she was the youngest person there that was not a fan of the classic Baby Shark and she knew Dire Straits. (It was a birthday party for my grand nephew, so there were 3 generations present.)
