    If done properly, it shouldn’t hurt all that much. Wash the area with a lightly soapy cloth, dry immediately, then apply a light coating of talc, then proceed to wax. What hurts is the wax pulling at the top skin layer. Using the above method, the hairs are the only things to get stuck to the wax (or sugaring paste, if you prefer that). Pulls out the hairs cleanly and nothing else. :D

    Mr. Miyagi didn’t have hair on his back. Many Japanese don’t have too much hair on their bodies. I had two Japanese boyfriends in my life so I’m speaking from experience.
