It remained a pop culture long enough that it made it into the jokes on the Jack Benny Show in the ‘50s — I think it was show co-star Dennis Day who made a crack about getting a clock in Benny’s likeness, with his arms going around pointing at the time: “At half past six, you look like September Morn!”
