Love the way Sterling walks with determined arms just like his brother Wallace!

Spud is walking with an animal alright. It’s name is Sterling.

Seagulf flew away, offended by that comment.

Is Sterling going to be the hero of this arc?

The strip has all the elements of a horror movie in the making… popcorn anyone?

Seagull: “I may be a rat, but unlike you I’m not a dirty rat.”

Hey, at least Sterling is clothed..!

They say rats with wings, I say dumpster chickens.

Rats deserting a sinking ship.

…still with an animal…

I’ve seen this movie before, sorry Spud, only Sterling has the animal instincts necessary to survive this ordeal. Oh, and possibly Rose, Amelia, Wallace, and of course, the gull.

HAH! this is almost as funny as yesterday’s strip!

I’ve heard pigeons called “rats with wings” but not seagulls.And raccoons called “ trash pandas”- there is a minor league baseball team with that name!

Not a very high opinion of Sterling……

That’s no way to talk to everybody’s favorite character in this comic, Spud. :P

Children of the Corn?

Reminds me of the song “Timothy” …could get bad with a hungry Sterling at his side. Hopefully, he’ll eat the corn, instead…

Spud is currently my favorite character in comics and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

If the fates are kind to him,Spud’ll meet up with Amelia.

Come now, the feral one is in his natural element Spud. You are probably going to make it out if you don’t mind eating some bugs.
