Two things that don’t make it right. Stupid, or might.

If he’s flying a Hello Kitty kite he’s probably a sweet guy.

What a change of attitude. That big guy took the wind right out of Monty’s self righteous indignation sails. It’s the kid’s kite though.

Hello kitty.

We used to get our kites out and up so high they were, a couple times, still up the next day – we’d use at least one whole 1000 ft spool. I tell people trying to get their kids’ kite up to let out a lot more string, but they rarely do it and the kites crash down quickly. Then, though, if they do it and the kite stays up, the kid gets bored.

You stay out of this. It’s between me and the kid.

Farm neighbor loved to plow up the weeds right next to the gravel road. One day he heard loud honking and saw a man blowing car horn and shaking his fist. Neighbor realized he’d probably hit the car with some rocks, so he stopped his tractor and got out to talk to the motorist. He was very shocked when the driver hurriedly drove off instead of talking to him about damages to the car. Us other neighbors thought this was very funny as our tractor driving neighbor was a hefty 6 ft 8 inches tall.

The little kid in the last panel looks like Sedwick’s cousin. Which reminds me: We’re over-due for some more cartoons with him Mr. Meddick!

I thought he would find some bikini wearing women on the other end and also have a change of heart.

“Are you talkin’ to me? I said, ARE YOU TALKIN’ TO ME…”

Monty the Coward, in all his vainglory. Monty would have dusted a little kid? But he can’t take if from a burly man? Ha! You’re a yellow scalawag, Monty!
