Even now in retirement I still have that same anticipation about walking in to food odors. I’m a little more handsomer of course. Sorry, Brutus. Have a great meal.
I wonder what it’s like to have someone else do the cooking? I know how annoying it can be to have someone wake up in the morning and ask what is for dinner. Brutus I am sure could learn to cook and eliminate the wait if he doesn’t like it.
My recently deceased wife would say tonight’s dinner is an “experiment” whenever she “found” a recipe that sounded good but she wanted to change it. Mostly they were good but some not so much. I miss those meals and of course I REALLY miss her.
Refrigeration has long been welcome, but usually is not minutes away unless pre-prepared for more or less instant cooking/use. Waiting is waiting, but wait for minutes/hours or days/weeks as it is not in your freezer at home? Is it more tasty in your freezer at home? I can taste it now. Eventually I will get around to it, though it perhaps shan’t taste as good. Afterward I shall need to get more to enjoy it too.

Your choice, I can make Hungry Man, or anything from Amy’s Kitchen. Unfortunately, we are out of Healthy Choice.

Dinnertime will be just a little bit late tonight it seems. Unless of course, you want to order out. Your choice…..
