If something is made from imitation leather, why is it okay for the company to call it genuine vegan leather or genuine pu leather. PU is polyurethane. Why not just call it what it is? And burgers made from vegetables used to be called veggie burgers but not anymore. If people don’t want leather or meat they shouldn’t need it called that.

Well really, most leather comes from cows that were already slaughtered for meat. I’m not sure that’s any better, but there ya go.
