I have three : ) All horse related, of course….. I do not have to dress like a nun to hide them and I don’t have to dress…. lightly… to show them. They are personal (one is a special date, one is a special accomplishment, the third is my barn logo), mean so much to ME and Mr. pheets, and the rest of the world can opine to its heart’s content.
I love the photo string out there of what happens to tattoos when people age. Some of them are hilarious. Also love the tattoo fails which gives good reason not to get one.
I have a good friend who has been tattooing his body for years. Some are quite beautiful. What I really don’t understand is how he does that when he has such a deep fear of needles that you almost have to anesthetize him to get a flu shot (took a while for him to get his covid vaccination, but he did).
Well, I reckon I’ll just sit over-here in this dark corner an’ nurse this beer, since I seem to be in the “lesser-ority” at the moment. (Oh, I only got ONE, on my-left upper arm. Kinda “rite-of-passage”, from Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children’s-home.) Why, y’ cain’t even see it, unless I’m warshin’ my-hide—which goes without sayin’, I reckon…?☺

It’s bad luck to put anyone’s name in a tattoo besides your mother or your children.

Most Plugger tattoos I’ve seen are so old and blurry as to be illegible…

I’m 70 and still love my one tattoo. Always wanted a few more, but never got around to it.

I’ve seen a lot of tattoos. Some made me laugh, some made me smile. The ones with numbers brought me to a rage and tears. Still do.
