To Gorrell, anything which aims to provide fair treatment to everyone is a “progressive agenda” which must be blocked at all costs.

Took me a bit to figure out what BS message was in this one. So racial grievances are destroying the Progressive agenda? So fighting for racial justice as well as an end to other forms of discrimination is destroying the Progressive agenda? Only a Conservative can come up with that twisted logic.

I don’t know what Gorrell is trying to say here in trying to combine two news items “pitchers caught cheating” and “something about the progressive agenda”

who is the pitcher? who is the batter? Is Gorrell admitting that the GOP pitcher is using “critical race theory” as a boogie man to scare their base and to distract and obstruct a progressive agenda?

Is it about progressive language of “defund the police” allows the GOP and GOP cartoonists to claim crime is rising because the police are being defunded, when no such legislation to lower police budgets has actually passed anywhere?

the only thing making it harder to pass a progressive agenda is the filibuster. is that what the sticky substance is supposed to be here? The thing that makes the baseball harder to hit, and thus difficult to score any points(passing legislation)
