Fifty-some years ago, there was a science fiction story about empathic flesh-eating insects that fled any predator that was glad to see them. The natives of the planet never got bitten because they had learned to project love at them, while the visitors from Earth were being bitten to distraction.

Re: The first panel. Why would you call AAA for mosquitos. I don’t think it covers that.
