I’m in the same camp with “Whatever happened to common sense?”, except I see ample evidence EVERY DAY that there are still ignorant and stupid (and totally gullible) people around every day.
Anyone that STILL believes that Trump would make an adequate president (or dogcatcher), obviously would have NO TROUBLE at all in believing that Beetlejuice or Sirius controls their life!
For instance, I was born in early June – which makes me “a Gemini” – but in the years since Astrology was first “invented” the constellations have “moved” and my birthday is no longer covered by Gemini – I believe it’s now covered by Taurus ! but this is never considered. The people that make up the garbage about how your life is influenced by the “stars” assume that they’re immutable – and they ARE NOT! When astrology was invented, it was believed that the stars in the heaven were close enough to reach out and touch – not billions and billions of miles away.
Our perception of our universe has expanded dramatically, our belief systems HAVE NOT!
Astrology was disproved about the same time that “bad humors” stopped being credited with disease progression, but the unintelligent and ignorant still persist.
Horoscope was created for events that would shake up an entire nation. Then it was scaled down to individuals. All that based on the light of stars that are probably already dead by now.

Time to compose another love note or two. And leave them where she will be able to find them.

Astrology was debunked long ago. Does anyone actually still follow it in the 21st Century?

Three cheers for Jimbo, who knows the difference between “to lie” and “to lay”, those tricky near-twins!
Oh, and for Don and Pat, too. :-)

I wonder if Rose’s horoscope is influenced by hormonal ebb and flow?
