Well, since a “bushel” is technically a measure of volume, it’s nonsensical to think that anyone could hide a light under it. A bushel basket, maybe, but then with old-time lights being flame-driven, wouldn’t that present a fire hazard?

it took me three reads to grasp that “provably” was the correct spelling for “provably” and not a misspelling of “probably”.
especially since “v” and “b” are adjacent on the keyboard, I guess.
