Sometimes I miss channel surfing. I’ve moved to all streaming these days, so the closest thing I get into any more is “surfing” through streaming service menus trying to decide what I want to watch next.
It always puzzled me why so many more men do channel surfing than women. My dad did it all the time and drove my mom crazy (when we got our first remote with a TV).

This was in the old days. These days, you have to wait about half a second or so for the channel to load.

One of the advantages of analogue TV, of course the trade off now is we can browse previews of other channels without having to actually change them
