The word pesky comes from a baseball player for the Red Sox, Joe Pesky. He was not a great hitter, but did things that annoyed pitchers, like bunt for hits, and steal bases. All his home runs were to the shortest part of the wall, the right field foul pole. Thus, all similar players were deemed pesky. The word entered the vocabulary as anyone/anything that was bothersome, irritating, or persistent.

I think this is one of the moments that Rose would not consider you “cute”, Peekaboo!

The operative word, Peekaboo, is “pesky.” It cancels out “cute.”

Cats can do no wrong! Unlike dogs who can’t turn around without getting in trouble.

The cow pose for the feline to climb and the cat pose with the cat perched on top, only Rose can pamper the pesky feline.
