He gets plenty of iron in his diet.

Yikes.

You need a more balanced diet. You’re overdoing it on the iron.

He’d weigh a considerable amount less if you removed the protrusion first.

This is every doctor I’ve ever met. Your current problem is secondary to your weight. I have a natural weight plateau that keeps me around 280 lbs. I’ve weighed that since I stopped growing at age 13, but the first thing out of every doctors mouth is I need to lose weight. I got sick once, couldn’t keep anything down for about 2 weeks. I actually weighed what the experts say I’m supposed to weigh for my height. Everyone I knew was of the opinion i looked like death warmed over. The doctor was concerned that I was still overweight.

Because he doesn’t want to deal with the real problem, and weight is a safe subject—and a billions of $ hustle.

It would be funnier — and a lot more real — if the Dr. were overweight. I know I have a bit of a paunch, but it’s nothing compared to my doctor’s.

I certainly hope those are steel-toe boots he’s wearing, for safety!
