not me; I don’t wear earrings at all

Sorry never did Earrings ….

Or a clip-on tie.

I’m guessing she’s the type to not have ears pierced .

Not me either, but I do remember my grandmother wearing them.

I wore clip-ons for a short time; they HURT! Had to wait till I went away to grad school to get the piercings to which my mother objected.

I use clip-on earrings on my navel, nipples, and my… Does that make me a Plugger?

On cleaning day at our house when I was kid, I was always picking up a hand full of clip-on ear ring mom left on the telephone stand and put them back in her jewelry box

I liked wearing earrings when I was younger, but I’ve always thought piercings of any kind were barbaric. Never cared for clipons either because they were uncomfortable. I used to buy screwbacks & put them on all my earrings. Nowadays you just about can’t find screwbacks.

I remember telling my daughter she could not get her ears pierced until I got mine pierced (i.e., never). Well, when she turned 18, she said, “I’m an adult. I am going to get my ears pierced!” When she came home and I saw them, I said, “Well, I guess I have to get mine pierced now.” And I did! :o) My daughter is now almost 38 and neither one of us has pieced ears any more. Now we just wear ear cuffs. NO pain.

A plugger remembers the old joke about the guy who started wearing a clip-on earring after his wife found it in the backseat of their car.

I can’t get studs. I’m on blood thinners

Couldn’t get pierced ears when I was a teenager, but I found that I could glue some small plastic flowers on my ears, to look pierced. Always peeled them off before going home, but one day Mom saw it and blew a fuse thinking I had done piercing without permission.

You’re a plugger if you have no sensation in your earlobes.

My mother had a big collection of costume jewelry. Many pairs of clip-ons.
