Makes me wonder about something…how much of the Christmas stuff that’s going on display this time of year is fresh from the factory and how much of it is carry over from last year? :/’
I’ve been in the Philippines since December 2019 and while last year wasn’t normal for obvious reasons, my fiancee tells me Christmas season here starts in September. I like Bing Crosby but that’s waay too early to start hearing THAT song in the mall…especially since it’s never snowed here (even in the mountains).

Christmas is special because it only lasts a few weeks a year. If every day is Christmas then no day is special.

Ralph needs to go to pretty much every supermarket and have the same conversation about bags of Halloween candy

My wife watches the Christmas in July movies on Hallmark. But she doesn’t go crazy with the decorations.

I like people that like Christmas. But am mostly an observer I guess.

Before Labor Day: The back-to-school push (actually that starts in late July). After Labor Day: Costco starts putting out their Christmas merchandise.

I always put mine up after Labor Day and take them down before Memorial Day, in between it’s to hot to mess with it.

Ideally, that box won’t be open until Thanksgiving Week Friday (aka Black Friday), then packed up on December 26th. Every year.

I’ve seen Christmas decorations on November 1st. At some point, I expect to see them, exactly when she said…right after Labor Day.
