There’s a danger when the computer simulations develop consciousness. Anyone remember a STNG episode where one of the holodeck characters realized what he was? (This was not the same as the Doctor on Star Trek Voyager.)

That’s because Dr. Mel is controlling Winky’s character from inside the game.

It only makes sense that killbots in a video game would be really good. Terminator T-1000 at least. The Winky player could be great, but with killbots after him all the time, would still inevitably lose fairly often.

Now then, as your doctor I’m prescribing a pill for that delusion. Do you want red or blue?

It’s not really that Winky’s player is not very good, it’s more a case of Dr. Mel’s player being mean and nasty.

Then again you could be comic strip characters.
