    Our CEO stated at the beginning that he didn’t like people working from home and made as many come in as possible. Technically I’m an essential worker but I could still work from home about 75% of the time.Now we’re all dragged back into the office and our flex Friday option is being eliminated. Why? Because management is mired in the past.

    It’s important, if you’re able to, to have a separate area that’s JUST for working. That way, you can sit there and know you’re working and when you leave that specific area, you are done with work.

    Very accurate. Next step is for them to start figuring out ways to get rid of that feeling — getting out of the house more (for fun, not just for errands like grocery shopping) and setting boundaries for work. That’s what my wife and I have had to do.
