I thought that a lot of people were cutting their lawn as well. Nope. Tinnitus.

I’ve used a corded electric for the last 15 years. Never have to go get gas.

I don’t understand why everyone in the neighborhood has his own lawnmower. Each person uses it for, say, two hours on a weekend afternoon, or evening after work. The rest of the time it sits and rusts. It would make more sense for a group of maybe six houses to share a mower.

Around here it’s the yard guys and their leaf blowers. Not too many lawns; lots of small sticks, leaves and pine needles.

The sounds of summer. Phooey.

Battery powered mowers and leaf blowers are now the thing. No noise, and greener.

Electric mowers. Silent.

He should just enjoy the “constant sound” as a reminder that he got his work done, while others still have to do theirs.
