Yeah screens, that would have stopped it for sure. Uh-huh. Yep.

That monster had better be careful. It might make Nate angry. It wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.

Those Krakens are sure a nuisance.

I feel like a screen wouldn’t really help with a giant sea monster tentacle.

“Screen” can mean many things. My first thought was that it was about a remote camera monitor. Then it seemed more likely it was an insect-blocking screen over the window. But neither would have any impact on the creature grabbing Nate. It must be a giant squid because an octopus is a gentle, curious and rather intelligent creature.

Since the kraken is going on touch, screens would make the window seem like just more wall and so he’d just move on.

Henry is as tenacious as that Kracken.
