Oh, the sacrifices that one makes to make sure that others don’t hog that Halloween candy…

And remember, folks, that November 1st is also an important holiday, It’s Reduced-Price Leftover Halloween Candy Day!

Closely related to December 26th and the day after Easter Sunday.

Being 10 and 12 years younger than my older brothers I started trick or treating just about when they got too old to out. Between them and my father’s sweet tooth I never had any candy left by Nov. 1st. It would amaze me when i was at a friends house and they still had Hallowe’en candy in mid November.

And this year’s candy is already on sale at the stores.

I always had to hide my Halloween candy from my four sisters.

I once knew a mother that carried her kids around town to trick or treat. She gathered up the treats and doled out the candy throughout the year.

We live in the country. Never had a trick or treater, but I must get Halloween candy every year just in case. Always try to get something that I don’t mind eating.

This is true auntie loves♡!

Another lesson learned, make your own stash.

Hahahahahahahahaha!

She is so tough she even enjoyed the razor blades hidden in the apples.
