The Handcat’s tale?

They must be very quiet and very non-smelly for the cat not to know they’re there.

The cat represents Republican voters, the mouse hole is vaccines (previously it was guns or gay marriage); the mice are Republican lawmakers, and the cone, of course, is conservative media

One blowing a little spinner thing. Forget what they’re called!

As a cat I have to say: “NOT FUNNY! NOOOOT FUNNY, MARK!!!”

Out of sight, out of mind….until….

When the cat has a cone,

the mice will roam.

Cat’s hearing aid isn’t working!

I’ve never had a cat or dog who couldn’t get the cone off in a few minutes.

This is both hilarious and sad at the same time.

On the other hand, if the cat turns around that cone will make a nice mouse scooper upper.

Until the cat realizes that the “cone of shame” is also a giant mouse scoop!

In about five seconds, that cat will leap on them, trap them under the cone and munch at leisure. Cats are highly adaptable.

Ha ha, the mice are cutely drawn.

Having fun at the cat’s expense.

They’re sure having a good time.

Not entirely implausible, since cats hunt more by sight than scent.
