I’m reminded of an incident in DC’s comic book Lobo. The title character was doing a bit of interstellar bounty hunting, and some small aliens contacted him with information about his target … but they wanted fifty percent of the bounty. A quirk in the aliens’ speech pattern made them end just about everything they said with a word that had the final sound “oo.” When they mentioned the fifty-fifty split, their spokescritter asked, “How does that sound to you?”
Lobo: Arrrghh! It makes me wanna spew! Gimme the info or you bowbs are through!
Alien: No fifty, no info! We’ll find someone who—
Another alien: —will pay us our share, not a cheapskate like you!

Never threaten a god/goddess in their own realm, it is bad manners and usually ends badly.

Sir Dudly seems to have missed the implications of the “Goddess of Death” part of the introduction.
Of course, he also never quite grasped the concept of: “More Flies with Honey”.

Lobo: I’ll squash ya all to goo!
Bystander: They’ve got him doing it too!
Another bystander: And you!

To many Norse, Hel was a place to spend a short Vacation.
Ya wouldn’t want to live there, but a short Visit makes you appreciate Home a lot better.
