    I was a paperboy back in the 70s and dreaded that part of going on vacation.

    I seriously doubt that they let kids do paper routes anymore these days. The past several years, I’ve only seen adults in cars. Too few people buy them now, and the routes are too spread out for kids on foot or on bike. Plus, it has always been somewhat dangerous. My brother was nearly abducted one morning on his route (this was in ‘72, I think).

    I just found out my brother in law may lose his job as custodian of a public school. As a federal employee he was told to get the shot or hit the road. He is planning on moving to Texas. He feels as if his liberties are being thwarted. I hope he does eventually get the vaccine shot and gets to keep his job.
