Peter’s just observing anthills again.
That’s “being prepared” – It’s almost like a dinner bell.
Do birds salivate (at the sound of a death rattle)?
Is that a Come and Get It rattle for all his friends?
“Quit making all that noise—I’m trying to sleep here!”
“That and let him out in the sun a little longer so that he can become human jerky!”
It sort of reminds me of the cartoon from the 60’s “Patience, My ass! I’m gonna kill something!”
Somebody’s getting anxious.
News flash; “Man eats two buzzards and survives death in the desert” !
LMAO!! Hysterical!!!
Why wait when you can enjoy it now…..
It’s a salt shaker.
There’s a bird up in a tree sitting up high
Just a-waiting for me to die
If I don’t get some water soon
I’ll be dead and gone in the afternoon
Water of love deep in the ground
But there ain’t no water here to be found
(Dire Straits)
Still too fresh for our tastes…
“I’m not dead yet.”
During my long retirement, I have learned never to be dead tired.
Fresh meat right now. Moist….juicy. Buzzards are stupid, apparently, or they actually like boring, dried out meat.
“Say, you didn’t see a little dog lost around here , did you?”
Buzzards aren’t considered psychopomps just carrion eaters part of the web of life. This is cleaning up the dead part of life. Psychopomps wait till you are dead to get your soul and ferry you to the Underworld.
Vultures are very caring birds: they do not attack even the smallest living creature, but some good advice is, don’t play dead.
