Richard's Poor Almanac by Richard Thompson for December 16, 2022

I’m allergic to insect bites. A simple mosquito bite gives me a blister. We live in a small hamlet, wide open country. There are cows, horses, and at least five kinds of biting flies. I wear a net over my straw hat, long sleeve shirt and work gloves, the whole summer. People think I’m a beekeeper.

There’s at least one face in that tree, under “mm”.

I used to look just like that kid, gnats and all.

I want it back!!!!!!

Bugs! I hate bugs! But Summer is ever so much better than Winter, even so….
