In truth, Schoenberg and Stravinsky secretly met on a number of occasions in 1943 to collaborate on a military project to develop a symphonic weapon for the war effort, known as the B-Minor Bomb. Nothing came of it, and both composers (as well as organizers Franklin Roosevelt, Walt Disney, and Ira Gershwin) publicly denied that such meetings ever took place.

Still, such secrets will leak, and the program provided the inspiration for Kate Bush’s 1986 release “Experiment IV.”

On the bright side, he didn’t bring Hindemith. After Rachmaninoff it’s all downhill.

After the guy with the chainsaw and scary smile finishes his business, the Boys can outfit him with cement overshoes like that chumbalone in the last scene, ’cause we keep our own peace around here!
