Looks like Adam’s brain isn’t going to cooperate with him.

I used to just think Adam was out of his mind…now I see his mind is out of his Adam…

Keep your mind on the job.

Maybe they could form a focus group.

Focus? I used to drive one. What?

If you need to focus on the job you’re trying to do, start thinking about something else you need to do, like mowing the lawn or cleaning the garage, and then concentrate on doing what you’re doing to get out of doing what you’re thinking about doing. Works for me.

I used to think that “mind” was what “brain” does. Not so much anymore.

That “Wait, what?” “Huh?” jiggled a funny memory. In my early days in “Computer Services”, one of the Programmers was from Thailand. Her English had been improving greatly and she kind of took exception to the term “Huh?” when one of the other Programmers used it, so she would say “Excuse me?” when he said “Huh?” It got to the point where they would be “Huh?”ing and “Excuse me?”ing over and over and over… You’d think it would get tiresome, but I thought it was hilarious, no matter how long it went on… ☺

It’s hard to argue with yourself, and win……
