They could always pay homage to Hoosiers and have an actor drunkenly storm the court during a game (R.I.P. Dennis Hopper).

By the way, if I recall correctly, Naismith invented the game for “ladies” to play, not men.

For even more fun, include an exhibition game where an all-star NBA team plays the Harlem Globetrotters using peach baskets.

Well, Jimmy boy started with regular peach baskets, but had to cut the bottoms out because the players got tired of having to climb a ladder to retrieve the ball after a made basket.

If you are going to use Naismith’s court, then you have to use his rules. Passing only, no dunks, no 3 pointers, no dribbling, no moving if you have the ball except to pass or shoot. And since it was a winter game for girls, ankle length skirts.
