Actually that is completely true. The last two generations have no clue how to read an analog watch. If you tell them the time is “A quarter to eight”, they have absolutely no idea what you are saying.
I have watches that I can’t figure out how to reset to the correct time. I went to a car dealer yesterday and test drove a new vehicle and it was too much technology for me. I am not a luddite but I don’t need to know what the temperature is on Mars (just kidding) when I am going to buy groceries.

My phone tells me the day and date. Otherwise I’m not sure I’d remember either. Just have to remember to recharge.
