They were both cuter/cutest when they started – before they tried to out-cute one another. It became a Cute-OFF (emphasis on Off).

Third panel they’ve crossed the boundary over to creepy, and in the 4th they’ve reached horror film.

Made me laugh out loud!! It is after a cartoon…. no reason to take it literally!
