Some of those trailers are so long and detailed, you don’t even need to see the movie. I don’t like when you’ve seen the movie and realize all the funny bits were in the trailer.
As you know, YouTube has an algorithm that decides what video suggestions show when you go to their website. I don’t know if it is my imagination, or what, but it seems to me that YouTube started suggesting more clips from TV programs and movies in the hope that I would pay to watch the entire episode or movie.

Truth to tell, it’s cheaper to watch a movie on pay per view than in a theater setting.;-/
