Luckily I live by myself and it doesn’t take me long to put away my groceries.

Looks like we’ve reached the stage of Lynn’s drawing where the characters’ bottom teeth are showing.

After yesterday’s steamy Saturday FBOFB, we are back to a family safe version for Sunday.

I get it. My dogs are not allowed in the house until groceries are put away. They are very helpful… or so they think. I always get a couple big bones for them from the butcher and they know that and are not terribly careful what they go thru to get them.

IF a playpen was available, it would take the humor out of the day. I suppose that goes double for using the grocery pushcart to strap April in. She’s certainly big enough to sit in it. I’m all about taking the easy way out of any chores.

Parents don’t seem to know how to use a playpen nowadays. That’s what they’re for. Walk in – put child down in the PP, put the groceries away, go pick up the child. No mess, job done.

When my son was still a baby, I would place him in his playpen while I was preparing lunch or dinner. He would amuse himself with the toys I had put in the playpen. When he wax a toddler, he liked climbing into the playpen at my friend’s house to play with the toys inside the playpen.

back when I worked third shift at a department store my boss couldn’t understand why it took me all night just to set the ad for the department. Then one week I was on vacation and he realized that he forgot to schedule anyone to take care of the small weekend ad so he decided to stick around and set the ad himself. when the first shift person came in the next morning he was still working on the ad, he never complained about how long I took with the ad after that.
