Sad but true, sad but true…
Many of us have been there young lady, especially over the past 2 summers!
That could have been my report every year in school. It was embarrassing growing up when we had to do those growing up poor and listening to the other kids talk about the cool vacations they took etc.
Dreading this report!
The end.
Unfortunately there is no summer bank.
You can’t save them. You have to spend them.
Believe me, spend them well.
You only get a limited number of them.
That’s almost as bad as ‘How I wish we hadn’t spent our summer vacation.’
There are only staycations these days…….sigh.
I was supposed to read more than just one book.
‘How I could have spent my summer vacation’ actually would have been a fun assignment.
The only regrets I have of the summers of my childhood is they were never long enough. :-)
I mostly spend my summer indoors.
