I guess I have lost another comic I enjoyed. Too bad everything in the liberal world has to be about politics. There have been moments of humor but recently you have turned to only expressing your politics. I will vote with my feet. I am walking away.

and is the death rate in Florida and Texas higher than liberal states? Funny but the press doesn’t seem to be giving any stats from those states, only talking about how evil the governors are for not shutting everything down

Walk away to the nearest ant-vaxx protest; you’ll find lots of Republicans there and feel right at home, and they’ll be serving Trump Shooters: hydroxychloroquine washed down with bleach. Get de-wormed while you’re there.

Meh. Another dose of left wing talking points, and more ham-handed than yesterday’s. Maybe next week they can get back to humor, or at least objectivity.

I really don’t like dealing with politics. In fact I stopped watching TV during the election and haven turned it back on. Both sides were mud slinging so much, I was afraid of getting it all over myself.

Hi. Michael Fry here. Writer of Over the Hedge. Enjoying all the fan carnage we’ve caused with this week’s arc. For those of you don’t like your comics to have a political opinion I really can’t help you. Hedge has always reflected T and my center left bent. We’ve always ping-ponged between silly physical comedy and political hot (luke warm) takes. But seriously, this isn’t about left and right, it’s about life and death. I live in Texas and I’m honestly astonished at the cynical actions of our governor. I DO NOT GET IT! Freedom? Personal responsibility? Does Abbott/Desantis just not believe a person can become infected, be asymptomatic and pass on the virus to someone who’s in a high risk group? To family members? To children? Personal responsibility is NOT doing that! Personal responsibility is caring and looking out for others in a public health emergency. There’s absolutely nothing political in that statement. It’s the apotheosis of Judeo-Christian-Muslim-Hindu-Church of the Subgenius thought (thus spoke Bob). I don’t give you Covid. You don’t give me Covid. Get the shot. Wear a mask. Keep your distance. DON’T BE A BUTT-HEAD! Please. I said, please.

Lewis and Fry, I get the reference to DeSantis, but the reference to Abbot actually doesn’t apply as if left standing the total human deaths in the state will actually drop. That is if a person views a fetus as a human and women wanting an abortion get serious about traveling to another state. Actually wider use of IUDs would solve this problem.
