I feed a cat who used to live next door. He came back after his people moved three blocks away. They aren’t allowed to have cats at their new place but they come take him home a couple of times a week. After he had been hanging around this neighborhood for a solid week, I began to worry they were losing interest. However, he showed up Monday morning with the tell-tale spot of flea treatment on the back of his neck. That shows they still love him. :)

Why would a dog who gets flea treatment worry about getting fleas?

My vet has a policy that if you bring your pet in and it has fleas, you have to pay for a flea treatment.
