Back when I had cats and wanted one cat to sleep with me, I couldn’t sleep with it walking around on the bed.

He’s wrong! Cats are comfy no matter what wacko surface they’re on!

We adopted a blue point Himalayan from an older couple who were having to move because of a medical issue. The new place did not allow any pets. His name was Nicki, he was raised with dogs, and when the weather turned cold you could say “foot-warmer” and he would get right there! Scratch either back-leg on the side and he would scratch like a dog. The people who gave him to us explained that when he was born the breeder said he “wasn’t perfect and would have to be destroyed”. I don’t know how long they had him but he gave my late wife a few years of joy. As did her chihuahua Thumper.

Now they are all together again.

When I was in my teens over sixty years ago our cat Trooper would sleep across my ankles so I know what it feels like.
