If the idea is to be aware of your thoughts, then you may want to be careful about those “Today, I WILL do XYZ!” thoughts. In my experience, if something unexpected happens that blocks you, or things take longer than you expect and you can’t get to everything (waaaaay too easy with the ADD-related time-blindness), then you may find yourself disappointed.
Put another way: In my experience, saying that something “will” happen isn’t “positive” thinking: it’s wishful thinking. =D; Things can be goals, but you don’t want to assume it’s done before it actually is done.

“What does that mean to me?”
Come on, most of us are usually thinking this but only cats come right out and meow it.

“Today I’m going to get all my laundry washed, dried, liberally sprinkled with cat hair, and put away.”
P.S. Yay! Oxford comma!

I’m doing my laundry today as well. They have to wait until I use or don the washed and dried item before they can decorate liberally with cat hair!
